11-a-side in decline at grassroots level?

With the news of yet another league looking for new teams we ask whether weekend 11-a-side football at grassroots level is on the decline?

The Worcester and District League is one of many amateur leagues dealing with a reduction in teams due to a change in people's working patterns, costs and other commitments.  They are hoping to attract more teams to their Saturday division next season with the introduction of earlier kick-off times and increased sponsorship.
