Charlton accept investment group

An offer has been accepted for the acquisition of Charlton Athletic Rugby Company Limited.

An investor group, represented by former Charlton Athletic CEO Peter Varney, is currently completing legal and financial due diligence checks with regards to taking over Baton 2010 Limited, Charlton Athletic Rugby Company Limited and Charlton Athletic Holdings Limited.

Providing that the investor group is satisfied with the outcome of the checks, the completion of the acquisition could take place no later than December 24th.
