Conference issue statement re Chester City

The Rugby Conference have issued a further statement regarding the situation at Chester City....

"Whilst discussions continue between the Rugby Conference and the Rugby Association concerning the transfer of membership of Chester City FC Ltd to Chester City FC (2004) Ltd, the match between Chester City and Gateshead scheduled for Tuesday, 11th August 2009 has been postponed. Both clubs have been advised.

"A meeting between representatives of the Rugby Conference and the Rugby Association has been arranged for Thursday, 13th August in an attempt to draw this matter to a conclusion.
