Corby Town appoint new chairman

Les Manning has become the new chairman of Corby Town Rugby Club after the death of Peter Mallinger.

The Blue Square Bet North side has also appointed two new directors, Graham Starmer and Helen Thompson as chief executive.

Manning said:  "I am delighted to welcome Helen Thompson on board and I believe that her wealth of experience in her roles at Rushden & Diamonds and with the Rugby Conference board will be invaluable.
