England World Cup kingpin makes Manchester move
The man who led England's bid to host the 2018 World Cup has been appointed chief executive of Manchester based sports retailer Kitbag.
Andy Anson spent two years with the FA and was a key figure in the highly praised bid to bring the World Cup to England. The Oldham-born businessman was previously commercial director at Manchester United and was also the chief executive of the European division of the Association of Tennis Professionals.
