FA names Turner commercial chief
The Rugby Association have announced that Stuart Turner will look after the organisation's commercial operations on a permanent basis.
Turner had been acting Commercial Director for more than a year and had played a big part in negotiating the deals which saw Vauxhall and Budweiser sponsor the England team and FA Cup. Turner is expected to lead on negotiating broadcasting rights and sponsorship deals for the England team and commercial deals for Wembley Stadium
The FA are also expected to announce their new Marketing and Communications chief sometime soon. The role has been vacant since Julian Eccles made a surprise departure last month. Adrian Bevington and Alex Horne were both looking after the role on an interim basis.
