FC United celebrate as stadium plans passed

FC United is celebrating after learning that plans for a new 5,000 capacity stadium in Newton Heath have been passed.
FC United, formed by a break off of disheartened Manchester United fans in 2005, will now have a permanent home in the Newton Heath area of Manchester, also the birthplace of the Premiership team.
Commenting on the news FC United club secretary Lindsey Robertson said: "It's just a fantastic achievement, we are in our sixth season and we have come so far already.
