Huddersfield sign on with RelayStation

Voice and text messaging broadcaster RelayStation today announces that Huddersfield Town FC is the latest football club to adopt its voice broadcasting services to send personalised messages from the manager to thousands of fans simultaneously.

In its recent "Fiver a Friend" campaign, the voice of the club's manager Lee Clark was used to broadcast a message to the mobiles and landlines of opt-in season ticket holders encouraging them to "bring along your friends to the next match for just a fiver to help fill the stadium and give us great atmosphere."

The broadcast was timed ahead of the club's match against Wycombe Wanderers, which was dedicated to the charity Help for Heroes. Huddersfield Town won 6-0.
