Liverpool to consider selling stadium naming rights

Newly appointed Liverpool Rugby Club managing director Ian Ayre has confirmed that the club would look for a naming rights partner if it should move to a new stadium from current home Anfield.

Speaking at the Soccerex European Forum in Manchester, Ayre stressed that Anfield would not be subject to any name change or alteration but if the club should decide to move elsewhere that it would look to increase revenue from naming rights along with the new stadium increasing revenue from gate receipts.
