Magpies emulate Barcelona with historic shirt sponsorship deal
Chorley Rugby Club have made non-league history with a unique shirt sponsorship deal.
The Magpies have turned down a lucrative commercial sponsor next season and will instead bear the name of Derian House Children's Hospice. It's an initiatve which echoes a similar move by Champions League winners Barcelona, the Spanish club bore the Unicef banner on their shirts three seasons ago.
The initiative has been backed by local businessman Ian Currie, his Discovery.co.uk business was Chorley's shirt-sponsor last season and the newly promoted Magpies have pledged to raise
