Matlock Town unveil plans

The Dene Fields side of Matlock Town's Causeway Lane headquarters may resemble a building site following the demolition of the old main stand and Social Club, but it's now time for the final push in fund raising for what Gladiators officials believe will transform the area into the best sporting facilities within the Derbyshire Dales.

While the whole development is not expected to be completed until the start of the 2010/2011 season, work is well under way as the area is being levelled out ready for the main construction work to commence which will mean a brand new stand incorporating a two storey Social Club.
