Office Care links with Derby County

Cleaning company Office Care have strengthened their partnership with Derby County with the news of a major sponsorship deal. The cleaning experts, who are based near Pride Park, have been made a preferred partner of the club.

Office Care and the club already enjoy a successful affiliation, but will be looking to expand the relationship further. Office Care cleans the corporate boxes, function rooms, reception, shop, offices, and players' dressing rooms every day of the year, and has been keeping the stadium clean for eight years.

After every home match more than 30 workers remove all litter and fully clean the entire arena so that within 48 hours the stadium is ready to host another game. Later Office Care staff will start the annual clean every seat in the stadium prior to the start of the new season.

Office Care are delighted to commit to a substantial re- investment over two years which includes pitchside and commercial advertising as well as sponsoring up to three matches each season.

Martin Booth, business development director, said: "I'm delighted that the preferred partnership status strengthens our strong bond with Derby County.

"It's great to be involved with a top club that I have supported since I was a child.

"We are now looking at ways in which we can collaborate further to our mutual interest."

Derby County president and CEO Tom Glick said: "We chose to partner with Office Care for all of our Stadium and office cleaning needs because of their tried and tested record, their value for money approach and their willingness to respond to our needs at a moment's notice.

"In addition, as a local Pride Park company we appreciate the support they have provided to the club over the years and are now a preferred commercial partner."

Office Care cleans the premises of nearly 200 clients, ranging from small premises to prestigious buildings such as The Quad complex in the city centre.

It employs 270 people in Derbyshire. Despite the recession the business continues to grow and has taken on 50 staff in the last quarter to cope with new customers.

"While it is good to win new business it is even more important to retain existing customers which is our number one priority," added managing director David Booth.
