Premier League secures new broadcast package

The Premier League's top clubs can expect another increase in television revenues after the league continued to build its global reputation in Malaysia.

The top flight of English football secured a larger broadcast package in Malaysia with Astro All Asia Networks and ESPN.

The deal, worth $233 million according to the Malaysian press, is just the latest increase from an overseas market for the Premier League in the latest round of bidding, covering the 2010/11 to 2012/13 seasons.
