Solicitors help secure future of football tournament

A pre season football tournament which attracts over 1,200 players has been secured courtesy of continuing support of law firm Forbes Solicitors.

Forbes has backed the Blackburn with Darwen Rugby Festival each year with the tournament coming under a big threat this year due to the local government spending review.  

Graham Harris, leisure manager at the council commented: "This event shows how the local authority working with local companies such as Forbes can provide excellent and affordable events for local residents and players from across the North West."

The Forbes Solicitors Rugby Festival will take place over the bank holiday weekend in August.
