Sports marketing agency to handle Ajax pre-season

Dutch side Ajax has signed an exclusive two-year agreement with sports marketing agency Sportfive regarding the organisation of its pre-season training camp.

Under the agreement, Sportfive will implement the pre-season preparations for Ajax, including finding suitable training camp locations, and negotiate matches with potential opponents during the pre-season. The training camp will be an integral part of Ajax's preparation for the next season of the Eredivisie.

In close coordination with Ajax's technical staff, Sportfive will seek a hotel and training location, handle the logistics of the training camp and arrange friendly matches, tailored to the needs of the team.

"We are delighted to have Sportfive as a partner for the important pre-season friendlies," said Henri van der Aat, commercial director of Ajax. "In football, preparation is crucial, and we feel Sportfive will be a strong partner to help Ajax prepare for the season."

"We are very glad of this opportunity to work with the kind of big name in international football that Ajax Amsterdam is," added Joachim Hilke, chief executive of Sportfive International. "The services rendered to FAs and clubs by our friendly match department have been very much appreciated by our partners and we are happy to support Ajax Amsterdam in preparing for their national championships."

Currently, Sportfive's friendly match department is arranging pre-World Cup training camps for the national teams of Serbia, Greece and Honduras, who will take residence in Austria and Switzerland as they prepare for the biggest football event of the year in South Africa.
