St Helens confirm new back of shirt sponsors
St Helens have become the latest sports team to sign with fan engagement platform Iqoniq.
The brand will join the second tier of the club’s sponsorship portfolio and will be present on the back of the club’s 2021 playing shirts. The contract will run until the end of 2023.
Under the deal, St Helens fans will have the opportunity to access exclusive content, prizes and rewards through the Iqoniq platform.
The club’s general manager, Dave Hutchinson, said: “Here at Saints we are always on the lookout for interactive ideas and concepts to grow our fan base not just locally, but around the world.”
As part of the club’s second tier of sponsors, Iqoniq becomes a ‘Platinum Partner’, joining Kinaxia Logistics, currency exchange service AFex, employment law specialists Elcons, Astar Recruitment, business technologies firm K3 and waste management company Biffa.
Iqoniq also holds a number of deals in football, including shirt sleeve sponsorships at English Premier League Club Crystal Palace and French Ligue 1 club Olympique de Marseille.
It also is a sponsor of fellow French club AS Monaco, Spain’s LaLiga and its clubs Valencia CF and Real Sociedad, Italian Serie A club AS Roma and Russia’s Zenit St.Petersburg.
