Super League Secures New International TV Deals for France and Pacific Islands in 2026 Expansion
Super League has confirmed two new international television
agreements that will expand global coverage of the competition from 2026.
The deals will bring France and the Pacific Islands into the
broadcast network, strengthening the sport’s international reach.
Existing partnerships already include Fox Sports in
Australia and the United States, Rogers Media in Canada, Premier Sports Asia in
South East Asia, Dubai TV, RushSports in the Caribbean, TV3 in Catalunya and
Sportdigital across Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region).
From 2026, French coverage will be boosted through the La
Depeche network, which will broadcast all Catalans Dragons and Toulouse
Olympique matches. Meanwhile, NBC will deliver Super League action to viewers
in New Zealand and across the Pacific Island nations.
Adam Treeby, Head of Broadcast at RL Commercial, said the
expansion marks a significant milestone for the competition.
“It’s great to be able to offer live action from the Betfred
Super League to more viewers in 2026 than ever before in the competition’s
history,” he said.
“We’re pleased to add two new broadcast partners to our
growing roster in 2026 with La Depeche and NBC both joining.
“The appetite for Super League is growing both domestically
and internationally with viewers getting to experience events such as Hull KR
taking on Leeds Rhinos in Las Vegas later this month, Catalans Dragons hosting
Wigan Warriors in Paris, a new venue for Magic Weekend at the impressive Hill
Dickinson Stadium, Everton, as well as all the action across the season as we
head towards the Grand Final at Old Trafford on October 3.”
