Vauxhall Motors has continued its sponsorship charge of the home nations by confirming a three and a half year deal with the Irish Rugby Association.
As with the FA and FAW Vauxhall become the lead partner of the association. Irish FA chief executive Patrick Nelson highlighted the importance the deal will hold for all levels of football.
"This is truly fantastic news for Northern Ireland football," Nelson said.
He continued: "Attracting a sponsor of the calibre and prestige as Vauxhall is great testimony to the progress we are making here.
"The support of Vauxhall will be invaluable in helping us deliver further footballing progress at a senior and junior level."
The deals have ignited discussions over a return of the British Home Championship with 2013 being touted as a likely date.
