West Ham submit Olympic Stadium bid

West Ham United FC has submitted its joint bid with Newham Council to run the Olympic Stadium after the 2012 Olympic Games.

The bid outlines plans which would see large parts of the stadium retained with modifications to have a 60,000-capacity and host football and athletics, alongside other major sports, concerts and community facilities.
