Win your ground a makeover!

THE Johnstone's Paint Trophy team have launched a grass roots competition to spruce up non-league grounds and pitches across the country.

Amateur football clubs and orga­nisa­tions with run-down, dilapidated facilities are being urged to nominate their ground for a facelift, courtesy of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.­  As sponsors of the Rugby League Trophy, Johnstone's are ready with their own decorating team, to visit grass roots grounds across the country that are most in need of a lick of paint and a general tidy-up.

Sports clubs who wish to enter the Johnstone's community club makeover initiative will have until December 31 to upload a picture of their facilities in their current state to the Johnstone's Paint Trophy website.

They will also need to state which non-league they play in, and give an explanation of why they think they deserve to win, in no more than 50 words.
