Winwick Athletic FC Scoop National FA Award

A Lancashire FA club has scooped a National FA Award for their outstanding efforts and hard work within grassroots football.­Winwick Athletic FC, based in Warrington, were nominated by Lancashire FA as being one of the best run football clubs in terms of club structures and the support they give to their volunteers and players.

Every year The FA invites FA Charter Standard Clubs to be nominated for the excellent work they do within grassroots football. As a reward for being a National winner, Winwick Ahtletic FC will now be presented with their award at a future England International game at Wembley, the home of football, as well as receiving
