Bradford Bulls and Leigh Leopards Confirmed for Historic Super League Clash in Las Vegas 2027

Bradford Bulls and Leigh Leopards will become the latest Super League clubs to take part in rugby league’s growing Las Vegas showcase when they face each other in the United States in 2027.

The fixture will take place at Allegiant Stadium on Saturday 27 February 2027 as part of another major rugby league event organised alongside the National Rugby League.

Four NRL clubs will also feature during the event, with Parramatta Eels set to face Gold Coast Titans, while Melbourne Storm will meet Wests Tigers.

The 2027 contest will mark the third consecutive year that Super League clubs have staged a match in Las Vegas following the success of previous events involving Wigan Warriors, Warrington Wolves, Leeds Rhinos and Hull KR.

Bradford’s inclusion represents another milestone in the club’s resurgence after returning to Super League this season following an 11-year absence from the top flight.

Bulls director and co-owner Philip Sharp said the club viewed the Las Vegas event as a major global opportunity to showcase both rugby league and Bradford Bulls on an international stage.

He added that the occasion would represent more than a single fixture, highlighting the club’s passionate supporters, the city’s identity and the ambition to re-establish the Bulls as a leading force within the sport.

Leigh owner Derek Beaumont described the opportunity as a privilege and said the event would provide significant exposure for both the club and the town of Leigh.

He also praised the growing relationship between Super League and the NRL, saying the event comes at an important time for the sport as discussions continue over future collaborative opportunities.

Leigh star Lachlan Lam admitted he is excited by the prospect of playing in Las Vegas, describing it as another special moment in the club’s recent rise following achievements including the Challenge Cup triumph and their return to Super League prominence.

The matches will once again be played at the 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium, one of the most technologically advanced sporting venues in the world and home to the Las Vegas Raiders.

The venue has previously hosted major sporting occasions including Super Bowl LVIII, where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.
