Wasps agree sponsorship extension

Wasps have signed an extension to their sponsorship deal with Dell Technologies.

The association, which first began in 2009, will now run until the end of the 2023-24 season.

The renewal means Dell Technologies will become the longest-running sponsor in Wasps history.

As part of the extension, Dell Technologies and Wasps will collaborate on the creation of a fan engagement app, as well as wider content related to the club.

Earlier this week, Wasps added to its sponsorship portfolio through the signing of a long-term contract with Midlands-based company The Wigley Group.

The firm’s logo will feature on the kit of the men’s rugby first team squad from the start of the 2021-22 season.

The Wigley Group’s building and development arm was recently appointed to build Wasps’ new rugby training centre in Henley-in-Arden.

James Davies, chief executive of the Wigley Group, said: “We would love to work further with Wasps Group in the future and we know that they have real ambitions both on and off the field, and hopefully this agreement will allow that to happen.

“We have used Wasps matches to entertain clients and contacts since the club first moved to the Ricoh and that is now on a more formal footing.”
